Privacy Policy
For Personal Assistant, a private application operated by Bob Mattax.
Who this covers
One person: me. Personal Assistant is a single-user application I run for my own accounts. It has no public signup, no other users, and no customers. If you are reading this, you are almost certainly not a user of it.
What it accesses
With my explicit Google consent, and only for my own account, it reads and acts on:
- Gmail messages and drafts, to summarise, search, and compose mail I send
- Google Calendar events, to read my schedule and availability
It accesses no other person's account, and cannot — the OAuth grant is bound to my own Google account.
Where the data goes
Message and calendar content is fetched on demand to computers I control and used to produce output I read. It is not sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used to train any model. It is not published anywhere. OAuth credentials are stored locally on my own machines.
Retention
Fetched content is kept only as long as it is useful to me, in local files and logs on my own hardware, and is deleted when it is not.
Revoking access
I can revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates its credentials.
Limited Use
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
